Downtime
August 31st, 2010
Okay, so its been a tough few hours for us. A DDoS attack on our server caused the issue. It is extremely difficult to stop these type of attacks, however we are trying our best to keep things running smooth. Uploads are re-enabled and things seem to be running fine now, however we are closely monitoring the issue.
We are sorry for the downtime, and would like to thank you all for your patience and continued support.
Server upgrade
August 5th, 2010
We have upgraded our server today. Please let us know your feedback on the server speed – especially the uploading of files. Also please report if you get any bugs or issues. We would really appreciate them.
We will start implementing all the new features and updates on the new server starting from next week.
Thank you for your support.
EDIT : We have experimentally increased remote upload size to 200MB.
EDIT 2 : There were some DNS issues with the short links which prevented users from accessing the site, it should be working fine now.
Uploading of exe file

We now allow both browser uploading and remote uploading of .exe file extension.
Problems accessing download links?
June 30th, 2010
Some users have contacted us saying they had to fill out some “surveys” to access Mirrorcreator download links. Please note that we never used or will use these type of methods to monetize Mirrorcreator. However, as we had mentioned once, some tricky advertisers make use of third party advertising networks to insert these type of annoying ads. Most of these ads are geo-targeted and hence we weren’t aware of this until we got the mails. We have now removed all the ad codes from the advertising network in question. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
If you ever encounter any similar problems in future, please let us know as soon as possible so that we look into it.
Thanks for using Mirrorcreator and we look forward to your continued support.

We have recently added two more mirrors – Turbobit.net and Fileserve.com
Please let us know which other new mirrors would you like to be added on Mirrorcreator.
And yes, we are listening to you. We are aware of the few uploads issue and we are indeed working on improvements which will be implemented as soon as possible.
